Nyobolt, a UK-based startup, is revolutionizing the electric vehicle industry with its breakthrough ultra-fast-charging battery technology. The company has developed a battery cell that can fully charge in just six minutes, setting a new record in automotive electrification. This advancement addresses one of the core challenges in the EV industry - the inconvenience of lengthy charging times.


The Nyobolt EV, designed in collaboration with renowned designer Julian Thomson and the Callum Studio, showcases the capabilities of the fast-charging technology. It features a composite body, 19-inch wheels, and innovative LED optics. The lightweight design and efficient charging capabilities of the Nyobolt battery enable a range of up to 250 kilometers and a charging speed equivalent to over 1,600 mph.


This breakthrough in battery technology offers new design possibilities and paves the way for the development of more efficient and lightweight electric vehicles. The Nyobolt battery has been tested for over 2,000 fast charge cycles without significant performance loss, ensuring long-term reliability. Additionally, the technology can be scaled up to larger battery packs used in luxury EVs, trucks, and buses.
