2023 Nissan Hyper Force Concept

Nissan is rewriting the rules with the unveiling of the Hyper Force, an all-electric GT-R concept that packs a staggering 1,360 horsepower. This powerhouse coupe marks the fifth and final concept in Nissan's Hyper series, teasing a potential glimpse into the future of the iconic GT-R without a traditional combustion engine.

Under the hood, the Hyper Force boasts a 1-megawatt, all-electric powertrain fueled by a solid-state battery, delivering precise and rapid acceleration. The e-4ORCE all-wheel control technology ensures optimal weight balance, while a lightweight carbon body and advanced aerodynamics promise exceptional handling on both circuits and winding roads.

Aesthetically, the Hyper Force seamlessly merges sleek curves with bold geometry, paying homage to Nissan's high-performance heritage. The design is not just about looks; it's engineered for high aerodynamic performance, generating powerful downforce and cooling efficiency.

The advanced technology doesn't stop there. The Hyper Force introduces a plasma actuator, a cutting-edge device controlling airflow to enhance grip and minimize lift during cornering. The racing DNA is evident in the two-tiered aerodynamic structure, front canards, and dual-level rear diffuser.

Inside, the driver can choose between two driving modes: "R" for racing and "GT" for grand touring. The graphical user interface, a result of collaboration with Polyphony Digital Inc., adjusts color and display to the mode, providing essential information for the driver. The racing mode immerses the driver in a red-lit cockpit, displaying tire grip, temperature, and power distribution. In GT mode, the atmosphere shifts to blue, offering a simpler interface for comfortable driving.

Safety is paramount, featuring advanced autonomous drive capabilities with hyper LIDAR and sports-tuned sensors. The Nissan Hyper Force isn't just about the real world; it introduces an augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experience. The driver, when stationary, can wear a special helmet for VR, engaging in gamified driving experiences. The AR feature lets the driver compete against digital ghosts on real-world tracks, pushing their driving skills safely.

This concept car represents a paradigm shift in the performance car landscape, catering to environmentally conscious customers. With its eco-friendly profile, electrifying performance, and cutting-edge safety features, the Nissan Hyper Force stands as Nissan's vision for the next generation of all-electric high-performance supercars.
