1967 Rover 2000 TCZ by Zagato

Sig created this Zagato-styled concept. Ercole Spada and revealed at the Turin Motor Show in 1967, was never seriously considered for production - and that is a shame. Look closely, and you will see that the standard Rover P6 radiator grille and headlights were used! David Bache had also been working on a coupe version of the P6 during the mid-Sixties (codename "Gladys") to launch the car as an Alvis - thereby instigating an upmarket form of badge-engineering.
