The Hunter, like the Impact, was based on the Ford Sierra XR 4x4 chassis. The rugged open-top off-roader was equipped with a navigational system and a telephone. The interior featured molded seats upholstered in weatherproof materials. Sections of the interior not upholstered were finished in a rubberized paint.
