MG introduced the 2026 MG Cyber Concept at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, previewing a new direction for the brand's future electric SUVs. The premium D-segment crossover combines sporty styling with the practicality expected from a larger everyday EV.

The Cyber was one of two electric MG concepts shown at Goodwood. While the smaller MG GO! is closer to becoming a production model, the Cyber remains a design study with no confirmed production date.

Sporty New Look for MG

The MG Cyber Concept SUV has a low, streamlined appearance designed to make a large crossover look more athletic. Key exterior details include complex LED headlights, a full-width rear light, hidden door handles, a prominent front splitter and a large rear diffuser.

MG says the Cyber combines sportiness and everyday practicality, while its styling provides a preview of how future MG crossovers could look.

Electric Flagship SUV

MG describes the Cyber as a premium D-segment electric crossover, positioning it above the brand's smaller EVs. However, MG has not released specifications for the battery, electric motors, horsepower, driving range or performance.

That makes the Cyber more of a design preview than a production-ready vehicle. Its main purpose is to introduce styling ideas that could eventually appear across MG's next generation of electric SUVs.

Will the MG Cyber Go Into Production?

MG has not confirmed a production version of the Cyber Concept. Unlike the smaller GO! concept, which is expected to develop into a production electric car, there is currently no timeline for the Cyber.

Even if the concept itself never reaches showrooms, its design could influence future MG electric crossovers. For now, the 2026 MG Cyber Concept offers an early look at how MG plans to give its next generation of SUVs a sportier and more premium appearance.
