2025 Porsche Carrera GT “Salzburg Design” (2005)

A Porsche collector asked Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program to restore his 2005 Carrera GT to like-new condition and reintroduce it in 2025 as the 2025 Porsche Carrera GT “Salzburg Design” (2005), inspired by the livery of the 1970 Le Mans–winning Porsche 917.

The car was completely taken apart and rebuilt from the ground up. The V10 engine was fully overhauled, all carbon parts were refinished, and the interior was redone with red Alcantara and matte carbon.

This process, called a “Factory Re-Commission,” is an exclusive Porsche service where the car is restored at the factory to near zero-mile condition and officially documented as such.
