The Lombardi FL1 was designed by Francis Lombardi and displayed at the Turin Motorshow in 1972. It was a mid-engined concept car and offered two engine specs; Lancia 2000 IE or a Ford 3 liter V6. The car was compact, measuring 4214mm long by 1700mm wide and 1135mm high. It was also lightweight at 800kg. It could reach a claimed 125mph in 2 liter guise and 140mph with the larger V6 engine. The car was designed for a small production run of 150 - 200 cars per year. The Lombardi Fl-1 never saw production.
