1985 Daihatsu BCX-5 Concept

The 1985 Daihatsu BCX-5 Concept was an electric commuter car prototype to be operated on a car-sharing basis activated by a credit card. It took 25 or so years for such schemes to become a reality. It was presented at the 1985 Tokyo Motor Show.
