The 2001 Ford Falcon Ute Mongrel Concept was a unique AU series Falcon Ute created as a joint promotional project between Ford and several aftermarket suppliers. Designed with a rugged aesthetic, the ride height was raised, enhancing its off-road capability.

To complement its tougher stance, the Mongrel was fitted with Python 17-inch wheels wrapped in Wrangler F1 235/65R17 tyres, giving it a more aggressive and durable look. The concept showcased the versatility of the Falcon Ute and the potential for aftermarket customization.
