The 1961 Toyota Toyopet X was a prototype coupé using a 2nd generation Crown chassis and engine based on an earlier Pininfarina concept presented at the 8th Tokyo Motor Show. It wasn’t until the 3rd generation that the Crown was offered as a 2 door coupé.
