2001 Tata Aria Coupe by I.DE.A

The Tata Aria Coupe, designed by I.DE.A Institute, is based on the Aria roadster concept unveiled by TATA at the 2001 Geneva Auto Show. Both the Aria Coupe and Roadster share the platform with TATA's B-segment 5-door hatchback, the 1.4-liter TATA Indica. The conceptualization of the Aria Coupe envisions it being powered by high-performance 1.6 to 2.0-liter petrol engines.

Styled in Italy by the I.DE.A Institute, the Aria Coupe and Roadster were part of TATA's initiative to expand its product offerings. The Aria Coupe, specifically, is built on the same platform as the Indica and is designed to offer a sportier and more dynamic driving experience.

The Aria Coupe's design and development were influenced by the collaboration between TATA and I.DE.A Institute, with the latter having contributed to the development of the Tata Indica. The front-wheel-drive concept coupe reflects a blend of Italian styling and Indian engineering, bringing a unique and appealing offering to the automotive market.
