An A-Z guide to 144 concept cars, prototypes, manufacturer show builds and digital design studies from 2025.
It was a busy year for concept cars. Automakers used one-off coupes, small city EVs, experimental drivetrains and stripped-back off-road machines to test what might come next. The biggest reveals attracted headlines, but many of the most interesting projects appeared at regional shows in China, India and Japan.
This guide covers vehicles publicly shown as concepts, experimental prototypes or manufacturer-led design builds in 2025. Original concepts are separated from custom show vehicles, digital-only work and revised studies that started in earlier years. A concept's quoted performance is a manufacturer's target, not a verified production specification. Where figures were not released, the entry says so rather than making them up.

105 NEW CONCEPTS & PROTOTYPES / 30 SHOW BUILDS / 6 DIGITAL STUDIES / 3 UPDATED REVEALS
New concepts and prototypes
The main lineup: new design studies and experimental or pre-production vehicles shown in 2025. Arranged by manufacturer, then model.
