The 2004 Acura RL Concept, debuting at the New York Auto Show, previews the next-generation RL sedan set for release in fall 2005. Key innovations include the introduction of Acura's SH-AWD system, which distributes power not only between the front and rear wheels but also between the left and right rear wheels, greatly enhancing handling and stability. The RL Prototype is powered by a more robust engine and features a streamlined design, with an elongated hood and short rear overhang that lend it a dynamic appearance, even at a standstill. This concept showcases Acura's focus on performance and aesthetics for its upcoming flagship sedan.
