2001 Holden UTEster Concept

The Holden UTEster Concept unveiled at the 2001 Melbourne Motor Show, stood as a unique creation resulting from collaboration between Holden, Car Tech, and Paratus. Positioned as an evolution of the Holden Ute, this concept car incorporated distinctive features and design elements.

Under the hood, the UTEster boasted the power of Holden's Generation III V8 engine, a 5.7-liter powerhouse. This robust engine was paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, enhancing the car's performance.

The interior of the UTEster was characterized by a unique yellow and black theme. The use of vibrant colors extended to the exterior, with a Marque Yellow base complemented by Jet Black highlights. The visual appeal continued with specially designed nineteen-inch wheels, finished in Titan Silver, adding a touch of sophistication.

The UTEster's interior was not only stylish but also equipped with an Alpine entertainment system, enhancing the overall driving experience. The concept featured a split-fold decklid design at the rear, where the front section was dedicated to holding the removable top and rear glass panels, while the rear section served as a traditional cargo bed, showcasing versatility in design.

This one-off concept car represented a fusion of innovative design, powerful performance, and functional utility, demonstrating Holden's commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive creativity.
