2000 Peugeot 607 Feline Concept

The 2000 Peugeot 607 Feline Concept is a testament to innovative design and cutting-edge technology. Measuring 4.07 meters in length, 1.88 meters in width, and 1.19 meters in height, this wedge-shaped marvel showcases a dynamic silhouette reinforced by its remarkably short overhangs due to the 2.58-meter wheelbase.

Crafted with state-of-the-art features, the 607 Feline boasts a single-piece carbon fiber body structure, multiplex wiring, and direction-seeking headlights. Propelled by a 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine generating 210 bhp, it incorporates a radical double A-strut suspension, front rocking levers, and a flexible cross-member at the rear, delivering a unique and highly drivable modern car.

The carbon fiber shell, constructed in a vacuum from aircraft-type honeycombed panels, covers the passenger compartment and body essentials, extending just in front of the axis of the rear wheels. Strictly a two-seater, the layout features a longitudinal power unit at the front and a five-speed manual gearbox forward of the engine.

The 60-degree V6 engine, with a displacement of 2946 cc, produces 152 kW (210 bhp) and incorporates variable timing at intake, four overhead camshafts, and twenty-four valves. This mechanical arrangement minimizes polar inertia, ensuring near-perfect weight distribution between the front and rear axles.

Accessing the car interior is facilitated by sliding doors that retract almost entirely into the front wings—moreover, the windscreen and rear bubble exhibit dynamic movement, enhancing accessibility and style.

The 2000 Peugeot 607 Feline Concept is a blend of advanced engineering and futuristic design, capturing the essence of Peugeot's commitment to pushing the boundaries of automotive innovation.
