The Autohomes Pandora was a compact camper van conversion based on the rear-engined Fiat 900E Citivan, and it stood out for offering a surprising amount of practicality in a vehicle just 3.8 metres long. Unlike Fiat’s own camper version, the Pandora featured a pop-top roof that housed a transverse double divan, allowing sleeping space for two up top. The pop-top could also be fully opened to create a sun-deck, a clever touch that made the most of the limited space.
Inside, the Pandora offered sleeping accommodation for three people, with a small lounge and basic kitchen setup tucked into the rear. Its compact size made it ideal for narrow roads and urban areas, while still delivering the essential features of a proper camper. It was an inventive solution for budget-conscious adventurers, making the most out of the Fiat’s tiny footprint and rear-engine layout.
