The Centauri Spider was designed in 1999 by a group of young designers working at the Fiat Department for Design Development and Car Innovation near Milan.
The chassis is aluminum, the cockpit is made with light alloys, the 3.0 V6 Alfa engine is visible under the translucent body, and the car features a steering wheel incorporating gearshift controls that the car is fitted on either side.
