The 4-seat Fiat 126-based City was intended for use in urban areas. With two large sliding doors and flexible bumpers, the body was smaller than the original 126, with a 66-inch wheelbase, a 110-inch length, and a 54-inch width. The doors slid along rails which continued onto the doors themselves as a decorative stripe.
